Discipline plays a pivotal role in the development of the personality of the child. It
can be imparted negatively or positively i.e. through stick or love. In our school
negative discipline is highly discouraged & students follow & understand positive
discipline which is imparted and checked through.

There is a time for speaking and time for being still. Special care must be taken by
teachers and students to preserve an ATMOSPHERE OF SILENCE AND SERIOUS WORK during class
hours.
A place for everything and everything in its place. Running, playing, shouting inside
the school building is never allowed. When moving along corridors from one class to
another the rule is always: keep left and respect classes at work, moving with as little
noise as possible.
Students from one class may not visit their friends in other classrooms during class
hours or free periods. Silence must be observed in the corridors and on the stairs
during class hours. There should be no loud talking at the change of periods.
During the absence of the class teacher, each Class Prefect is responsible for the order
and discipline of the students in her class. Silence must be observed outside the
Principal's office.
No student is permitted to come to the Principal's office during class hours except for
good or urgent reasons. Students must not remain in the classrooms during the recess.
Students must not go to the water fountain during class hours except for very special
reasons. No student may leave the school premises during the class hours without
permission from the Principal. Going without permission will be dealt with severely.
Students may use the telephone with permission. Permission will be given only in urgent
cases. All must leave the classroom after school so as to enable the helpers to do the
cleaning. Books, newspapers, periodicals and magazines may never be brought into the
school without the knowledge and sanction of the Principal. These may be confiscated.
No collection for any purpose whatsoever may be made in the school without the
permission of the Principal. Presents to teachers or other demonstrations in their
honour also require previous permission of the Principal. The school is not responsible
for books, money and cardigans that are lost. Students must look after their own money
or valuable articles. No jewellery of any kind, precious or artificial, will be allowed.
Each girl is advised to bring her books, etc. in a bag or case that can be securely
locked. No student is permitted to enter the Staff Room.
Beauty without Courtesy is like a grove without flowers. Students shall always greet
their teachers, elders and friends in a pleasant and audible tone whenever they meet
them in school or outside.
They shall maintain a good posture whenever they sit, stand, or walk. They shall be
polite in speaking to one another, always avoiding the use of slang.
Cleanliness is next to Godliness.
All must consider it their responsibility to keep the School Premises clean.
Every child must be particularly careful to avoid throwing waste-paper, fruit-peels,
etc. out of the windows or on the school grounds. Use should be made of the waste paper
baskets and bins provided for this purpose.
Be as careful of the property of others as you would be of your own. Children should
take special care of School Property i.e. furniture, apparatus, etc. Any damage done to
School property must be made good.
Behaviour is a mirror in which everyone shows his image.
Students are answerable to the School Authorities for their conduct both in School and
outside. They ought always to conduct themselves in a manner worthy of the dignity of a
human being. Misbehavior justifies dismissal. Students are not permitted to patronize
roadside vendors or eat on the road.
